It has long been recognised that volunteering offers individuals an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills, whatever their circumstances or stage of life.

All of our work and efforts are done for one incredibly important reason, the reason we are all in this charity and all we work hard for, to ensure disabled people can take part in equestrian activities. but not only this, RDA provides community, friendship, health and happiness for so many not just in our equestrian activities, but also out of it. 

​

There are many ways to volunteer with Emley Moor RDA, either assisting at the riding sessions or helping to run the group and the all-important fundraising. We are a small friendly group that has the attitude of the more the merrier. We can take volunteers from 14 years old and we have had many young people do their DofE with us too. All volunteers 16 years and over will be required to complete a DBS check.
